Radamanthium ore is a type of alloy metal which utilizes properties from Rathalium and Refined Adamantium. Thus this type of metal has unique characteristics from both metals making it superior to both Rathalium and Refined Adamantium alone. However since it requires Rathalium to be made there is not a vast abundance that can be made with this.
The metal was mainly developed after the Rathalium Burning Sword shattered during battle and was severely damaged. Not wanting to have Katrina be left without her primary weapon, Gates worked on trying to find a way to restore the special sword. He salvaged as much fragments of rathalium as possible but it was not enough to rebuild the sword outright, he would have to fill in the blanks with another element. The best metal he had on hand was his refined adamantium. He wanted to build a stronger sword but without losing the fire properties of the rathalium. It took some research but eventually an answer was made by combining the 2 metals at an atomic level.
Radamanthium retains the fire property of its rathalium orgins while having its strength boosted by the refined adamantium. The fire can also be boosted by artificial energy thanks to the refined adamantium. However this combination does make the metal weigh significantly more than its predecessors. The sword would need to be redesigned thinner and sleeker, to retain the original speed it had in its previous incarnation. This redesign would allow 2 of these swords to be created. One given to Katrina and the other given to Boo Boo.
